Milesworth Travel is an IATA accredited travel company and the representative office in Chennai for the world’s second largest travel services organisation, American Express Travel. Our personalized trilingual service and in-depth local knowledge of travel in India combines powerfully with the global recognition and network presence of American Express. So our clients get the best of both worlds - flexibility and cost-effective travel solutions backed by global support and service infrastructure. Our History
Milesworth Travel was founded by Kanta Gupta in 1994 to provide businesses with one-stop corporate travel management solutions. Prior to striking out on her own at the age of 50, she worked for nearly 12-years as a key account manager with a nationwide agency chain. In 1999, Milesworth was invited by American Express, the world’s second largest travel company, to become the representative office for Chennai.

Our Associates
Footprint Holidays is an associate company of Milesworth Travel, and runs Footprint Bed & Breakfast, a 9-room guesthouse catering to business and leisure travellers. Footprint B&B has been voted #1 on Trip Advisor since 2008.
Our Managing Director, Ashish Gupta, is a co-founder and director of the Barefoot Group, a 35-crore hospitality and travel venture based in the Andaman Islands. It is the owner and manager of the highly reputed and awarded luxury eco-lodge, Barefoot at Havelock.
