After breakfast, discover some of the other main Angkor sites.  Head to the ancient city of Angkor You will enter the city from the ancient South Gate, an impressive stone gate carved with Elephants and four giant faces.

From here, continue to Bayon Temple in the exact center of the city. This 12th century masterpiece is a study in grandeur and is well-known for its 54 towers with enigmatic faces representing the 54 provinces of the Great Khmer Empire. Stroll through the grounds of the former Royal Palace to discover some small hidden temples that are rarely visited.

Return to the hotel where there is time to take a break and perhaps cool down in the swimming pool.

In the afternoon explore the Ta Som, a Buddhist temple built under Jayavarman VII. The temple has been left largely unrestored with numerous trees and vegetation growing amongst the ruins including a sacred fig tree strangling one of the entrance gates.

Return to the hotel where the evening is at leisure.

Upon arrival at Siem Reap International Airport, head to your hotel for check in.

In the afternoon visit the famous Angkor Wat. Angkor Wat is well known for the more than 2,000 Apsara dancers decorating the temple. Construction is thought to have taken around thirty years of intensive labor. Today, Angkor Wat is figured on Cambodia's national flag as the temple symbolizes the soul of the Khmer people.

During sunset time, Angkor Wat is less visited, and the Apsaras will shine in the most beautiful light.

Overnight in Siem Reap

This morning, get in the saddle for a gentle cycling tour. Take the chance to stop and interact with the local community and learn about their way of life.

A support vehicle will follow if you need to take a break. Total distance is 26km and will take about 2½ hours.

Continue by van to see the “gem” of the Angkor area.The so-called “Citadel of the Women” remains the best preserved temple in Cambodia. Stop at a local pagoda where Buddhist monks will celebrate a private blessing ceremony for you, wishing you health and a safe journey – a memorable experience!

After returning to your hotel get pampered and enjoy a relaxing massage at your hotel’s Spa. The perfect treatment after an intensive discovery of the Angkor Temples.

Enjoy a relaxing cruise in a gondola paddle boat at the moat of Angkor Thom compound while watching a spectacular sunset at Prasat Chroung temple. Cocktails, champagne, canapés and a soft drink will be available on the boat, as your boat paddles slowly along the ancient moat.

After return to your hotel where the evening is at leisure.
