"I wanted to express my sincere appreciation for all of your assistance and support with The George Washington University travel program. The program in India truly was a success and a joy because of your attention to detail and personable service.

We had traveled to India the previous year, July 11-30, 2009, and had made all of the local arrangements by ourselves (drivers, buses, excursions, travel guides). It was an extremely stressful process and the results were not always what we had hoped for. However, staying at The Footprint Inn, a travel must (!), I was introduced to Ashish Gupta and we discussed allowing Milesworth Travel to make all of our arrangements for the following year, June 25-July 22, 2010.

The results were more than fabulous. Ashish paid attention to every detail, recognizing that we would be traveling with a group of 18 women. Milesworth Travel prepared detailed schedules, worked with our budget, and made sure to find equivalent accommodations on our excursions. When we arrived, we were met at the airport, a welcome sight within the crowds of people, and were driven to The Footprint Inn to relax. Then Ashish met with us and went over every detail to make sure there were no changes. Our Program is particularly challenging as each morning groups of students travel to different sites to do volunteer work and the drivers needed to know where they were going and when and who to drop off and pick up. Additionally, Ashish planned excursions with travel guides to allow our students to get acquainted with Chennai and gave them maps to find nearby recommended restaurants, banks, and clothing and grocery stores.

The weekend excursions planned were exceptional—allowing for relaxation as well as exploration into India. We traveled south to the beach the first weekend and to the mountains by train for camping and hiking, and then down to Pondicherry. On all occasions we were escorted by a Milesworth Travel associate or met graciously by hotel representatives.

The trip was much more relaxing for me as I knew that I could easily make a phone call and someone at Milesworth Travel would be of assistance immediately. Their attention to detail and gracious, welcoming service was a joy to work with. I will not travel to India without their support and I plan to return with my students in the future. I would recommend Ashish Gupta and Milesworth Travel to anyone traveling in India. I cannot wait to return!

The Tempo Traveler and driver were excellent. We got quite spoiled spreading ourselves out in the vehicle, never having to fully remove our things.

Each day was a new and varied experience for the group. Looking back, each was a good day and I can't really find any one day that stood out above the other. It was always a delight to be in our accommodations. Each was unique in its ambiance and all were comfortable.
